Affiliate disclosure
Plain version: some links here earn us a commission. It does not change what we recommend.
The disclosure
Restlune participates in affiliate programs operated by manufacturers and affiliate networks. When you click certain links on this site and make a purchase, we may receive a commission from the seller. This comes out of the seller's margin — you never pay more because you used our link.
This disclosure is made in accordance with the US Federal Trade Commission's Guides Concerning the Use of Endorsements and Testimonials in Advertising (16 CFR Part 255).
What commission does not buy
- It does not buy a recommendation. Several pages on this site advise readers to try a $40 fan before a $1,599 cooling system, and to treat a particular sauna purchase as final sale because the return policy is close to unusable.
- It does not buy silence about a product's weaknesses. Where a warranty is short, a return policy is punitive, or a subscription is mandatory, we say so on the page.
- It does not buy a health claim. Where our research contradicts a manufacturer's marketing, we publish the research.
Where links appear
Pages containing affiliate links carry a disclosure notice at the top of the page, before any recommendation. Pages without affiliate links — such as The Evidence — do not carry one.
Not an endorsement by the brands
We are an independent publisher. We are not affiliated with, authorised by, endorsed by or sponsored by any manufacturer named on this site, unless a page states otherwise explicitly. All trademarks and brand names are the property of their respective owners and are used for identification and comparison only.
